‘Top Secret: Mission Toy’ at the Simcoe County Museum
The Simcoe County Museum is excited to welcome Top Secret: Mission Toy, an exhibit on loan from the Canadian Museum of Civilization.
In a ‘secret’ research facility named Toy Central – International Headquarters, International Toy Agents will be asked to investigate intriguing toys and games from around the world and share stories about their favourite toys.
Do you know how to use a Cipher Wheel or build a Marble Maze? Do you know where different toys originated? Have you ever seen an X-ray of a toy? Show off your skills as a Spin Expert at the specially designed table for spinning tops as you challenge other Toy Agents in battle; just for the fun of it! There is a lot to explore and discover in this fantastic hands-on exhibit.
Top Secret: Mission Toy is on now until April 7 and is open during regular Museum hours: Monday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Sundays 1 to 4:30 p.m. Regular Museum admission rates apply: Museum Members and preschoolers are free, Adults $6, Seniors or Students $5, Children $4.
Education Programs are also available for a limited time for this exhibit; contact the Museum for more information and to book your school or group.
